Dion Ethell

I retired from federal law enforcement in 2021. It was the bitter sweet end to a 20-year career with the United States Border Patrol. Having been sworn into service with the Border Patrol first as a federal agent under the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) within the Department of Justice, and then later under Customs & Border Protection under the Department of Homeland Security, I lived through many big changes within my agency and the government as a whole. As such, I had some very unique experiences during my service and had the good fortune to serve in many capacities over my long career. I have served at every level in the Patrol from Agent to Chief, and my work spanned across 4 Stations, 3 Sectors, and the Office of Border Patrol Headquarters in Washington, D.C. I had some very cool experiences, having been to the White House, Capitol, and Pentagon, many times. I even had the opportunity to speak before the agency heads representing the Chief of the Border Patrol at a White House National Drug Control Policy gathering, spoke before the Joint Chiefs at the Pentagon multiple times and met all sorts from Presients and members of Congress, to cabinet members, and other dignitaries. You have to pinch yourself sometimes to believe it.

I received my license in Real Estate in 2022 and joined my wife at Long Realty under the Sherry Ethell Team. Sherry, a former 26-year scientist, started her Real Estate Career almost a decade ago and has been a superstar ever since. It only made sense to join her and help support her dream, having supported me so many years! I really have come to enjoy Real Estate and helping people navigate what is a big decision in most people's lives. Super satisfying to continue serving others! Look forward to working with you
